About University:- Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU), formerly known as Nagpur University, is a state university, established on August 4, 1923 in the city of Nagpur in the Maharashtra state in central India. Named after Tukdoji Maharaj, its focus was in teaching Indian languages like Sanskrit, Marathi, Hindi and Urdu besides other subjects like medical sciences, arts, commerce and engineering.
